The Vocalist - Writer / Co-Founder

Vocalist, writer & multidimensional artist, recognized as the first Kuwaiti woman to lead a metal band, she is known for her collaboration with Akira Yamaoka, the renowned composer and musician behind Silent Hill. She has also performed at ArtScene, the American University of Kuwait (AUK), the Australian College of Kuwait (ACK), and Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST).

The Guitarsit - Composer / Co-Founder

Mando.

Mando, Lumina’s guitarist, is recognized for his expressive playing style and commanding stage presence. He has performed on some of Kuwait’s most prominent cultural stages, appearing eight times at the American College of the Middle East (ACM), twice at the American University of the Middle East (AUM), as well as at the American University of Kuwait (AUK) and a special showcase with ArtScene.

The Producer - Bassist

Salem.

Salem, Lumina’s producer, has showcased his talent across diverse stages, including performances at the American University of Kuwait (AUK), ArtScene, and the Jordan Rock On Music Festival. In addition to his work with Lumina, he leads his own project, Dissociation, where he takes the role of vocalist and frontman.

The Synthesist

Aziz.

Aziz is the synth player of Lumina, bringing atmospheric depth and powerful textures to the band’s sound. He has performed at ArtScene, the American University of Kuwait (AUK), and the American University of the Middle East (AUM) on three occasions.

The Drummer 

Aziz Baqer

Aziz Baqer, Lumina’s drummer, has been a cornerstone of Kuwait’s alternative music scene since 2007. His journey has taken him from stages at ArtScene to the Jordan Rock On Music Festival, as well as numerous performances across Kuwait, where his commanding rhythms and refined technique have left a lasting mark on audiences.

Husain Jawahri is Lumina’s manager, recognized for his vision, strategic direction, and unwavering dedication to the band’s growth. With a deep understanding of the regional music industry and an eye for international opportunities, he has been instrumental in shaping Lumina’s presence on stage and beyond. Husain’s commitment, professionalism, and ability to bridge creativity with structure make him an essential force driving the band’s success.
